How it works

Still & Path is a guidance service for serious meditators with a year or more of consistent practice — people considering a first Vipassana or silent retreat in Europe, navigating the differences between traditions, or returning from a retreat unsure what comes next.

Still & Path is founded by practitioners who have navigated the traditions and done the retreats. We built this because the guidance we needed did not exist. With this service we want to share with fellow practitioners what we found on the way.

Everything starts when you send us a note — a few sentences about where you are in your practice and what you are thinking about. We read it ourselves and write back within 48 hours with our honest read: what we think you are ready for, and what we would specifically recommend.

The recommendations are specific. We name actual retreat centres in Europe — Gaia House in Devon, Dhamma Pataka in Germany, Nirodha ry in Finland, Plum Village in France and Germany — with practitioner-perspective reasoning you will not find in any directory. If we think you are not ready for what you have asked about, we will say so — and explain exactly what to do first instead.

Still & Path is free. Every note is read by a person. Every response is written by a person. The 48 hours is not an automated delay — it is the time it takes to read what you have shared and write something worth reading in return.

If you are at a genuine turning point in your practice — a first silent retreat, a teacher relationship, a tradition you want to go deeper in — start the assessment →
