Still & Path is a contemplative practice guidance service. You can reach us at hello@stillandpath.com.

What we collect and why

When you send us a note through this form, we receive your email address and the text you write. We use this information to send you our honest written guidance and, over time, to understand how to improve the recommendations we give.

How it is stored

Your form submission is stored in a secure database hosted in the European Union. Only the people preparing your response can see it.

Analytics and error monitoring

To understand how the site is used and to keep it working, we rely on two privacy-conscious tools. We use a cookieless analytics tool that records anonymous, aggregated visit information (such as page views and approximate region) — it does not use cookies, does not track you across other websites, and does not identify you personally. We also use an error monitoring tool that alerts us when something breaks; it records technical diagnostics only, and we deliberately exclude the contents of your note and your email address from it.

How long we keep it

We keep your submission for one year. If you would like us to delete it sooner, email us at hello@stillandpath.com and we will do so within 5 working days.

Who else sees it

We don’t share your information with retreat centres, teachers, or anyone else.

Your rights

You can ask us at any time to see what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Email us at hello@stillandpath.com and we will respond within 5 working days.

Guidance and its limits

The recommendations we offer are informed by our own experience of practice — retreats attended, teachers studied with, traditions explored. We are not medical, clinical, or therapeutic professionals, and nothing we say constitutes or should be read as a substitute for professional medical, psychological, or therapeutic advice. Our guidance is informational: what you do with it is your decision entirely.

We do our best to read your situation honestly, but we can be wrong. If a recommendation doesn’t feel right, trust that instinct — and feel free to tell us.

Intensive meditation and retreat practice can surface difficult experiences. If you have a history of serious mental health conditions, we encourage you to speak with a qualified professional before attending a retreat or undertaking intensive practice.

If you are in a mental health crisis or emergency, please contact a qualified professional or your local emergency services (EU: 112).
